Be sure and pick up the pearls

As I go about my daily activities, every so often, I would rarely notice a “pearl” along the way. I used to bend down and pick these pearls only occasionally, and often discarded them as “coincidences”. I found that these pearls were scarce and hardly ever presented themselves to me.

And then, for no reason that I could think of, I noticed that I was finding more pearls. What was the change? How was it that, the more pearls that I found and picked up, the more pearls presented themselves to me to be found? The difference was, I believe, is that I began to see the deeper meaning and significance in the pearls. I literally began to “polish” them and “put them on the shelf” instead of discarding them.

Now let me explain what a pearl is to me and what are the other names that these pearls go by. They might be called miracles, Acts of God, coincidences, wonders, a phenomenon, marvels, or visions.

I believe that these “pearls” are placed in my path when I most need them. They seem to be lessons from a higher power to aid me and guide in the fashion by which I might conduct my life.
